THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS, INNOVATIVE DESIGN AND OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE SERVE THE SAFETY AND SECURITY NEEDS OF PROFESSIONALS

All Kibo products are manufactured to the highest standards using only the best materials, processes and technical knowledge to achieve our aim of producing the best protection for our clients. Shelters are tested against ballistic standards for protection against projectiles and blast standards to defeat or lessen the effects of explosive dangers.

All products are tested via modelling in the laboratory, followed by a rigorous and exhaustive live fire tests under field conditions. All materials are tested to NATO’s registered standards and the US National Institute of Justice (NIJ S 0108.04) for Ballistic Resistant Protective Materials.

Kibo offers two levels of protection; NIJ Level IV (similar to) NATO B7, resisting ammunition types and calibres up to 7.62 armour piercing and what Kibo refers to Level IV Plus, resisting up to .50cal (12.7x99mm NATO).

Kibo can arrange live fire demonstrations for potential customers, at our testing facility or at client locations. A recent client demonstration proved 100% resistance to 120 bullet strikes at a 2-man Focus Sentry Box with zero penetration on any glass or steel components. Documentation of these tests is available to clients.

All Kibo products comply with the National Institute of Justice NIJ ballistic standards Level IV or higher NATO NCAGE CODE: G1954.

Research & Development

Kibo manufacturing is an innovative company, we constantly investing in high quality Sweden ballistic steel, composites and integrated design solutions to meet high demands to an uncompromising standard. Our action plan is to improve our existing techniques and technologies as well as implement it within the design of advanced and beyond of current models offered based on new weaponry evolution, field case studies and advanced ballistics. The main objectives of our research and development team are quality, safety and security.

Our highly trained professionals are focused on the quality production of our products consistently seeking ways to increase production efficiency and product innovation.

Every stage through of the manufacturing process line in our factory is subject to stringent quality control standards and ensures that all the parts and the final product passes through high quality control before is going to leave our facilities.
We aim to over-deliver with every job to our clients.

Out product’s design provides seamless and homogeneous protection using the patented overlap system which is integrated into the structure. Our engineers and architect designers take up curiously consideration of our client’s mission needs and develop a product concept in close cooperation at the Kibo factory which always meets the most exceptional requirements of our client’s bespoke needs.

In pursuit of innovation, we constantly refining our used technology. We are maintaining our own development department dedicated to testing both concepts and materials ballistic laboratory testing and under realistic conditions in the field based on real case studies and scenarios.
